    • High level energy use and performance data comparison
    • User perspectives in purpose built low energy housing
    • Integrated approach to low energy housing (new and retro)
  • Low carbon and sustainable cities: Urban heat island issues
  • Transition to more renewables in energy delivery
  • Recycling and treatment of water under urban intensification
  • Optimising stormwater management: Dealing with extreme events
  • Minimizing fine waste storage on surface and controlling the risks

Submission of abstracts: 1st February 2017

Notification of abstract acceptance: 1st April 2017

Submission of paper: 1st May 2017

Notification of paper acceptance: 20th May 2017

Conference days: 28th - 30th June 2017 (Wednesday-Friday)





 

Submission Guidelines

Posters

Poster contributions will be presented in the exhibition that will take place during the event. Authors will be offered the opportunity to present their poster during coffee breaks and a dedicated poster session. Details on sizes and other requirements will be provided to poster authors.


Presentations

Presentations (supported by PowerPoint) are expected from conference participants with accepted papers: 30 minute timeslots are reserved (20 minutes of content and 10 minutes for questions). Presentations will be required one week before the event, while a back-up should also be brought to the venue on a flash drive. The presentations must include the conference logo on every slide.


Abstracts need to be submitted by 1st February 2017

Full Paper Submission Guidelines

The full paper should be a maximum of 10 pages in length. Please use the ADAPTBUILD template to prepare your manuscript and submit it by 1st April 2017 to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=adaptbuild2017




 

Invitation Letter

If you need an invitation letter for visa purposes, the organisers will be pleased to provide you with one. Delegates requiring visas should request an invitation letter from the organisers after the registration confirmation for the event. Delegates are then responsible for contacting the relevant/appropriate embassy themselves. The organisers can do nothing further to assist this process.
